Come Worship with Us!

10:30 AM
Our worship service is held every Sunday morning in the sanctuary, a wonderful worship space which contains both modern and time-honored elements. The service has a printed bulletin to help you follow the liturgy, and we sing hymns accompanied by organ, piano, and guitar. Our adult choir has a repertoire that ranges from classical anthems, to spirituals, to modern compositions.

The service includes a “Time with Children” component where children are invited forward for a short lesson related to the scripture or season and a prayer. For those families who desire it, childcare for infant through age four is available downstairs in room 120 of the sanctuary building. Some children may choose to begin the service in the sanctuary and go downstairs after the “Time with Children” part of the service.

We welcome people from all backgrounds—Christians of all denominations, people of faith from throughout the world, people who profess no faith, and those who are searching for religious and spiritual meaning. We would love to welcome you!

Music in Worship

Congregational worship is supported with both modern and traditional elements of music, ranging from choral hymnody with organ and piano to more contemporary praise music with guitar.

Choir

Rehearses 7:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesdays, September through May. The choir sings weekly at the 10:30 am service. The choral repertoire includes an eclectic choice of music. The unique position of the choir, slightly elevated in the center of the nave, wonderfully supports congregational singing and downplays the impression that the choir is there to perform for the congregation. Everyone is welcome.

Soloists and Instrumentalists

If you are willing to sing a solo or play an instrument during a worship service, we would love to hear about it!

Non-Musical Support of Our Music Ministry

If your gifts are of the technical and instructional nature, we need you, too. Volunteers provide audio/visual support for both services, including projection, live sound, and web streaming.

If you would like to be a part of our music ministry in any way, please contact Barrett Abernethy.
