COVID 19 Protocols for Outdoor Gatherings
Outdoor events for up to 15 people have been approved.
View the Protocols here.

The dates are set for our next round of small group studies. Mark your calendars for an April 11 start with studies going for five to six weeks (ending on May 9 or May 16). Because of the ongoing pandemic groups may meet outdoors on campus or use ZOOM. Any changes that Session may make regarding meeting options will be announced. Even though the announced dates are Sundays, groups may decide to change meeting dates for ZOOM meetings, and on-campus outdoor meetings can take place any day of the week provided on-campus school functions have ended for the day.
The Christian Education Ministry team is finalizing the course offering which will be announced by mid-March. There will be three to five topics to choose from. We will be forming a small group for young adults that Rev. Toney-Schmitt will lead. Stay tuned for details!
At MVPC we seek to use the blessings we have received from
God to be a blessing to others.

If you would like to take part in giving to the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Foundation Task Force Funding for the COVID-19 pandemic, click here and be sure to select COVID-19 Fund in the dropdown.
Reach Out
Call your fellow church members and neighbors and check-in on them, especially those who live alone. Make sure they are doing well, and see if they need any food, toiletries, and other essential items.
Food Donations
We have a bin outside the entrance door to the office wing at the church. The bin is checked regularly and donations are carried to the Food Pantry at the Community Assistance Center for distribution to vulnerable families in our area. Please go online to ourcac.org for more information. Click here to view the most needed food items.
Pray
2 Chronicles 7:14 says “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Continue to pray for our church, community, and the entire world, for God is still in control and answering prayers.

WAYS TO GET HELP DURING THIS TIME
Food and Financial Assistance During Covid-19 Crisis
In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, CAC has modified services to focus on serving families and individuals who have been hit the hardest by loss of income. CAC is concentrating efforts on providing food to families that need support and providing financial assistance to make sure that people can stay in their homes. CAC is the first line of response for people who need support to prevent homelessness and hunger in the communities of Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and the area of Doraville served by Dunwoody schools.
